A grant of £500 has been made out to a charity for financial support. Hope House Children's Hospices, based in Shropshire, provides services for terminally ill or life limited children to give them a more pleasant environment for when things take a turn for the worse. They also offer bereavement support for the families of sick children, including services before and after their child's funeral.
As part of our own policies for giving charity to anyone, we awarded a grant of £500 to Hope House to be used for purchasing specialised equipment for helping disabled children.
Just recently, we received a letter from Stephen M Tudhope, admin for Hope House's Trust and Legacies department, stating this money would be used towards an Oska Cirrus Pain Therapy mattress. With continuing support from charities like Crackerjacks, Hope House will be able to care for and accomodate sick children for many years to come. More information on Hope House Hospice can be found here.
