Crackerjacks Children's Trust is a dedicated registered charity working towards making a difference to the lives of children with a disability in your local area and across the UK. Our Mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their physical or cognitive challenges, has the opportunity to thrive within their community.
We supply essential specialist equipment to support a child and their family, sensory toys and heartfelt respite breaks that unite the family to make long-lasting memories. (To download an application, go to the Grant Application form tab, select downloads and choose the appropriate document.

Sensory Toys
Here at Crackerjacks Children's Trust, we are proud to provide Specialist Equipment, Sensory Toys and Respite Breaks. On this page, you will find information and examples of Sensory Toys.
Sensory Toys are designed to simulate the five senses—Sight, Sound, Touch, Smell, and Taste. Sensory toys benefit children by improving cognitive functions such as problem-solving and memory, developing fine motor skills through manipulation, and supporting emotional regulation and calming through soothing sensory input. They enhance language and communication skills, promote curiosity and exploration, foster neural connections, and encourage social interaction through shared play
