Telephone Sales - Charity Events Coordinator

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Telesales person to join our events team based at our head office in Kidderminster.

The Job

The applicant must have Telesales experience from a similar background, full training will be given on how to use our systems.

We are a national charity that supports children with disabilities throughout the UK. We raise our funds by contacting donors around the country, by telephone to organise one of our fundraising events.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be working with our existing client database which is well established with over 30,000 donors. You will also be required to generate a small percentage of new donors, to which leads will be supplied. It is important that you have a professional telephone manner together with a cheerful personality and be able to speak with our donors on all levels. It is essential that you have the ability to manage and organize your time efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

A Full in-house training programme is provided but you will need to have good communication skills along with an excellent telephone manner. This position would suit someone that has worked within a call centre, in telesales or similar and have a friendly yet persuasive style over the telephone and use to making a high volume of calls and achieving targets

You will also require relevant computer skills to operate our database system (training is provided) Applicants must be reliable, dependable and well presented.

Benefits

The successful applicant will be required to work 30 hours per week Monday to Thursday 09.00hrs to 17.00hrs.

The starting salary is £9.00 per hour which will be reviewed after 3 months service based on your performance within our grading scheme. The salary ranges between £8.21 and £10.00 per hour.
